Symbaloo: Status Update - Tab Problem Continues (Video) But Some Nice Additions

It's time to update the status of my favorite visual bookmarking service:  SymbalooEDU.com.  On July 16th, I wrote a blog (found here).  However, on July 16th, I received a tweet from @klaaslameijer which noted  that the tab problem would be addressed in 2 weeks.  It's been 6+ weeks.

Symbaloo has been in contact with me since that as noted in the article and the most recent as recently as August 31.  I'm appreciative of that.

For me, the ongoing tab problem continues to be a HUGE problem.  I have 35 webmixes!  Eighteen of these webmixes are published, shared, and embedded on webpages.  My job is to manage them.  And, honestly, I want to make more.  But, the tab issue is growing more difficult every day.  To get an idea of what the problem is, please watch the video below:



Symbaloo has done some cool things but the elephant in the room, the tab problem, is a critical "to-do" still on the list:

  • They have an app for the iPhone/iPad.

  • They have an app for Android.
