I heard back from eDocs

Save-A-LotImage via WikipediaHi everyone! I wanted to write and let you know that I'd heard back from eDocs. Phil from eDocs responded to share that, unfortunately, they do not offer any discounts. He stated that they felt their price was already very competitive. He also mentioned that the trial version is fully functioning so you can get a real concept of whether you find it as valuable for the 30-days and whether it is worth the investment. I have to say though that I always think it is a good idea to help out the educators if even in a small way!

While I'm disappointed with the news, I really do like this program, folks. It makes organization of the files, well, elegant and efficient.

As a note, he also noted he had not received my first email and that is why the response was not quicker. That was comforting.

So, for now, I'm going to keep using it and reporting on it with the new understanding about the cost of the item. It is $49.99 for a standard edition of the program.

Now, Mac users, there is a program called iDocument that is also $49.95 that does the same thing that eDoc does for Windows. When I purchased my copy of this one for my other computer a year ago, I received a 20% discount for the program for being an educator. It also has a trial version!
