It wouldn't surprise many that my grandsons, ages 3 to 11, are already huge technology fans! However, safety is always an issue. We have downloaded and used Kidzui and it is fantastic. It's a browser for kids for both Mac and PC. Kids get their own login and create a little avatar. Parents get an account, too, and can login to see the activity of their children. If you have more than one child, they are all added to one account for the parent but each have their own unique login. The home page is awesome! Colorful and full of neat things for kids to explore! There's a section for Homework help, as well. My youngest grandson who was using my Macbook laptop (without a mouse, mind you) was easily playing games and manipulating the site! What more can you ask for? Safety and good fun for the kids in one! (Not to mention it's FREE!) Check it out at http://www.kidzui.com.

As a parent, I love KidZui because I can relax while the kids have fun on the computer. No worries about stumbling across inappropriate YouTube videos or instant messaging with strangers. My kids love it because they don't have to sift through the boring grown up stuff to find their favorite sites and games. They have a blast on the computer.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your input! I know it helps others to hear from those of us actually using it with kids! :) Thank you for reading MyWeb4ED as well!
